Little princess pageant

To day I asked Kym if she wanted to be in the Garfield little princess pageant. Then I read a little farther and realized I have a heart DR appointment that day. So I had to break her little heart and tell her that maybe next year both her and Dev could do it. I asked what her talent would be:

her reply I could be Santa!

How cute is that.

What is a trip without a trip to a DR?

It has been a very long time since the off spring of Danny and Kym Reid have take an overnight trip with out hitting at least one hospital or Insta care. This trip is proving to be no different. Rayce is now on his way to the Insta care. He woke up fine went swimming, ate lunch, went to the mall. Came back to the room for a nap and bang he has fever and sore throat. Poor little guy he was up and running earlier today.

On a brighter note we had a great time at the George Strait concert. He is a great singer. Kymmie asked me one time during it how does George dance. I had to smile and tell her that he doesn't need to dance he just needs to sing. That is enough. She informed me that when she sings she needs to dance also.

I really don't think I will ever go to an event at the Usana amphitheater. The venue was great. Getting there was a joke. Luckily we took a wrong road and got ahead of Tempe's car. Cause it only took us an hour and 15 minuets to get there. It took Temp's car over two hours. We were less than 10 miles away. Crazy! Once again luck was on our side cause we got out faster than Temp's car load.

George was wonderful.
Blake Shelton was good too.

We missed Julianne hough.

Danni got beer dumped down her back and into her purse as she was walking in.

Rhett was able to run to the stage and has a flash of lights to show for it.

Britt tried to run to the stage and got stopped (she could have got some good footage if the officer would have stopped Rhett instead)

(the cops there were great. Rhett the little BSer he is talked the cop into cuffing him and taking a picture. As Britt was taking the pic the cop leaned down and told Rhett stop smiling or no one is going to believe this.) Unfortunately the pic didn't save to the phone.

Due to my pregnancy I had cankles (my ankles and feet were swollen) and my feet felt like they were going to explode. So no craziness from our section. (Sorry I brought our section down)

Kym, Devyn, Rayce and Jaxlyn LOVED it.

Kym wants to go again today.

The truth is I would too.

Dev: our little nail tech

Devy loves to get her nails done. She is all girl, except when she fights then she is a meaner than a pit bull.

She also loves to fix nails and hair. Her Daddy is her favorite client. (Her mother is a pansy and gets hurt to easily)
Devy is fixing Lew's nails with a decorative key. You can't tell in these pictures but she Hurt Lew's bad. She almost drew blood. I think it will be a long time before she fixes his nails again.

So he loaded it today just to prove to me that he could. He thinks he can get one higher. He said that he did something with a pipe and a bolt to the throttle and another one with the brake and drove it in.

That is not what he did so if he tells you different say you want to see the pipe.

Oh I love my Hubby. He said that it prob wouldn't ride this way.

Red neck Lew

Lew is trying to figure out a way to haul the four wheeler and bike in the back of the truck. He might just have a great invention. Or he might just be the biggest red neck around.

I think I would have to take the tooth fairy out if she brought a new Trampoline for the first lost tooth.

Kym did get an apple and $2.00.

She was very excited about both.
We did get a new tramp we have been talking about it all summer and Lew finally stopped and picked one up on his way home this hitch.

They are back!!

Snakes.

It seems like every few years we have snakes in our back yard. Thank heavens they are just garden snakes.
And it's not just one snake it is a snake every time Lewis mows the lawn or we go near the back fence. Lets just say I will be staying away from back fence and watching were the kids and I step.

Grandma Gleave

We are home. Grandma is still in the St George hospital. The plan is that she will be there for a few days then they will move her closer to home. We don't know if that means Cedar city or Panguitch. We kind of wish it was Panguitch, just so she can be near Grandpa.

She looked pretty good when I left today around 2:00 PM. She looked really tired poor Lady. I think that she was happy to see her family (more than just two at a time) and the little kids. If she is still down there in a few days I will head back down with out the kids. They all did really good at the hospital considering how long we were there and the fact that they couldn't really play outside cause it was so hot.

Hanging in St George

Grandma Gleave is not doing so well. Last night the Dr. Cauterized 3 big bleeds and 1 small bleed in her throat. Now she is so sick. The nurse said that she is trying to get all the blood out of her system. We don't know how long she will be in the hospital or how long we will be down here.

I don't know who is reading this but I will try and keep it up dated.

Calf Creek crew

Okay I know the life jackets are a bit over kill. But I thought they would be playing in the little hole that is there. No they didn't want anything to do with that. Devyn didn't want anything to do with calf creek.
Taylie loved it there. I think she might be a fish.

I blog!

Kym's first ballet recital. She was so nervous before the performance. She did great and wants to have another recital. They might do one in Panguitch for the care center. She wants to do one there so bad for her Great Grandma and Grandpa Gleave and her Grandma and Grandpa Roundy. And if they do get to do one there we are really hoping Daddy will be home.
The whole company did Thriller for the finally. I was worried that Kym would be sacred but she love it. We also want to thank Kym's great teacher.

Tempe was in 4 Dances and taught two groups there dances.

I don't know if I have ever seen Kym that white. She didn't even want to talk to her Daddy.

BBut after she was all smiles.

Kym danced to the Little mermaids "Kiss the girl"

Kym practiced so much that Devyn can now do most of the dance too. If you start to sing "There you see her" Devyn will point very slow and then tap her foot. So cute.

Did I mention Devyn LOVES make up? We were getting Kym ready for her dress rehearsal when Devy snuck the Halloween red lip stick.
