two tutu's

I made two tutu's today it took me like an hour and a half. They turned out pretty cute. I made one that the was all pink and then a blue and purple one. I only ran into one problem the tulle is not as stiff as the other ones, so it took more tulle to make these. I thought that I could get at least four and I only got two. The up side the tulle lays better and it was cheaper well cause I had to use more tulle they are about the same price to make.

5. Peaches I am eating about 5 peaches a day cause we have like million this year, but I am not complaining. I would rather have a million than none.

peanut butter cookies

I found the easiest recipe for peanut butter cookies and I just had to share.



1 Cup Peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
1 Cup sugar (plus more for rolling cookies in)
1 Egg

Mix peanut butter, sugar, and egg. Roll into balls then roll in sugar, place on ungreased cookie sheet smash with magic wand(fork) making criss crosses. Bake for 7-10 minuets at 375. Make about 2 dozen.

They are a little dry but very good.

I was saying that my life is so lame I don't have anything to blog about so I need to give something away just to get the elite eight to read my blog. I don't know what I would give away, I guess I could mess up your house for you or let you have the privilege of watching my heathens that would be a real treat. HAHAHAHA

I went private

As to the conversation Britt and I had yesterday and Lew finding out that the car care people are reading our blog I am going to private. I hope that you all can still read my blog. I don't really have much to say today. My life is pretty lame. I am considering giving away prizes that seems to be the latest rage on blog sits. I think it is to get people to read the site. But I really don't need a bunch of strangers reading my blog.

Kym told Lew today that she wants earrings and roller skates. I don't know why those two things. Just kind of random things.

Red bull and spirit anyone???

I really needed one yesterday, I don't know if that would put you to sleep or wake you up I guess that would depend on the spirit you added to the red bull. Oh man that was a great weekend.
Kieth Urban was on CMT and all I could here is that man telling Kaelyn "you are a big gambler, 18 cents a bet. If you hit a jackpot what will you win 88 cents?" It was so funny. For the next few months when ever I hear a Aussie I will think of Mesquite. I will also think of Mesquite when I see a football. HAHAHAHA. Don't worry I confessed all my sines to Lew. He was a little up set about Blake trying to lay by us at the pool. But then I explained that when Blake would come around we would scatter and that time he sneaked up on us. Oh drunk men. What did your hubby's say? Terra? Lew was like how much did you win at the craps table and I told him I didn't put any money down so it wasn't my money if the first place and when the guy tried to bear hug me I left in a hurry. It was fun to roll the dice but the game moved to fast to understand what was going on.


PRESCHOOL HELPER

I was the helper at preschool today, it was so much fun. If I ever build a house I am going to build a playroom just like the preschool. Only it will be the playroom/craft room half will be for the kids and the other half will be for me. It was huge, had nice big shelves for all the toys and craft supplies, even desk for the teacher (go figure a desk for a teacher!) My thoughts on that is it would be a nice place for a computer and files all in one room with out a TV. Okay maybe I could allow a small TV. wink wink.

A pink chicken got loose in Devyn's crib!

So last night I was putting Dev back to bed(I had to wake her up and say good night) When I got her up she had a feather stuck to her pj's. No big deal. I go to put her back in bed and move a blanket a few more feathers, what have the girls done?? I start to pick the "few" feathers up and move another blanket the whole bed it covered in light pink and dark pink feathers.

1st thought- what were the girls doing??
2nd thought- Why did Lewis put the Devyn to bed in a feather covered bed? I bet they were poking her. Hubby's!

I had a great time in mini sin city so I didn't even yell I calmly cleaned up the feathers and put Dev to bed. sorry no pictures.

Little miss muffet.....

I found a dress at the skihoopie thrift shop and I liked the material, so I bought it for like one dollar:) I didn't know what I was going to do with it then the girls were playing outside on the tea table and I felt so bad for their little behinds. Light bulb moment! A few days later and a whole lota seam ripping later their little bums are setting on a cloud.

So I am not a seamstress at all so I will let you all know the flaws on them so if you ever see them in person you won't be like she CAN NOT sew.

Halloween 2008

This is one tutu but it fits both girls, I need to make another one. Both girls fight over it and when it is on they dance and dance and dance. I Love it. I just want you all to know that the family room was clean about two minuets before I went to get the tutu. OH KIDS.

1st Art work

Kymmie's first school art work. Circles in orange and red. I think it will be a masterpiece soon. You might want to get your bids in early, I am sure this one is going to be in the millions.

Home again

We made it home today and no someone did not break into my house and clean it while we were away. I know that one day I am going to come home and everything will be in it's place the floors will all be clean and the bathrooms will be fresh and clean. I know it is a long shot, but a girl can dream. This is Dev dreaming of a clean house when we get home ;)

Dance, Dance, Dance

Yesterday was the first day of dance class. I put Kymmie in the level one class in Escalante because Aunt Tempe is the teacher. We will only come to two classes a month. So I decided that I should take the adult class so that I could help her on the weeks that we aren't in Escalante. I thought about putting Devy in the toddler class(tempe is the teacher too) but she is about 6 months to young.
It was so much fun and a great workout.

Dev after we got home from dropping Kymmie off. She realized that she has my undivided attention.


I promise I will not put a picture of them going to school everyday. But I had to get a pic of Devy's headband, she brought it to me and wore it all the way to and from the school. Looking like a hippie. But hey she wore it and that is the victory.


Now for the sad news why oh why is George not going to Vegas??? What are we going to do? How far will we have to travel to see THE MAN!! It is a sad day!!

The facts are slowly coming to light

Every few hours Kym tells me something more about her first day of school.

We were talking about the slide, when she said some kids got on and she pushed them. My reaction-did teacher Tammy get mad at you? She gave me a funny look, like why would I get in trouble I finally realized that she was talking about the merry-go-round. OH mom we had so much fun we were going so fast around and around and around just this fast. And she showed me how fast they were going.

Some kids were playing with the Narbles(marbles) I didn't want to play with the narbles, and some other kids were getting mad at the kids playing with the narbles.

On a mat I found my name and a turtle. Mom it was so fun.

School Days

Our story begins September 1, 2008. After I put he girls in the bath tub I get an idea that is stupendous(that is a fancy word for good) I put rag rollers in Kym's hair! I forgot one little thing, rag rollers make the ends of her hair frizzy. That is okay I gave myself plenty of time for any crisis. Only one thing my alarm did not go off. I set my cell phone and some how the snooze was still set from the other day. I don't know how that happened. I woke up for some reason at 7:15. Thank heavens.

I was going to take pictures of the whole morning, that was not happening. Every thing went pretty good Kym was in a good mood today and listened really well. She is excited.




She did great she didn't even tell me goodbye. I thought about going in and giving her a hug and kiss but then she might have been sad. She walked around for a minuet and then went to find the dolls and kitchen.

I could make them but they won't turn out as cute as these. I did Kymmie's hair in rag rollers tonight so we will see what her hair looks like tomorrow. She told Lew that she would listen to the teacher likes she listens to me. I guess that means she will not be learning anything this school year. J/K
