Sleep over

Thanks Terra for letting Jax spend the night. I got more done in the half hour they played in the bed room than I get done all day with my fighting girls. I didn't realize how much they fight when they are playing. It was so nice. I wish we lived closer.
Loved hanging with you guys tonight.

BRITT- yes those were the curlers and I love them!!

Kindergarten here Kymmie comes

What a strange morning. All my life school and getting up early go hand in hand. Kym didn't wake up until after nine and the only time I had to tell her to hurry was so she would get Breakfast and Lunch before going to school. She was so excited about going back to school. I hope she keep that excitement.

I love both of their faces.

Devyn made herself right at home. She was taking the paper and crayons home with us. You can't see it but Dev's shirt is on inside out and her pants are dirty. Kym was way happy to see some of her friends from last year. She was a little sad cause the one Friend she was looking forward to seeing is in the AM class.

Dev got her tonsil's out

Our little Dev got her tonsil's out last Tuesday. She has been a sick little girl. I don't remember Kym being this sick for this long. But Dev did get strep the day before she got them out. The Dr said that is was fine and better for her to get them out than go through strep and then a month later have her tonsil's out. Poor little thing. She is starting to get better.
It is sad cause this is the last week before school starts and I had so much planned. Swimming, picnics, cook outs. All we have done is sit in the chair and rock Dev. Luckily Kym has hung out with my Mom and Danni Kell so she doesn't feel too sad. Thanks You guys.

Okay so the real reason we went to Salt lake city

I finally made it back to the Heart DR. Everything looked so good. Most of you won't understand what I am talking about. But they do a test that they measure on a scale from 1-5. Before Heart surgery it was a 5+ (that is the highest it can go) 6 months after 1st surgery it was still at a 5. So I decided to have a second heart surgery. The Doc said it was the hardest second device he has had to put in. Cause the one he usually uses was not working. So he had to put in another big one. The surgery usually take right at one hour. My second one took an hour and forty five minuets. I was awake and heard him swearing and the tenseness of the other people in the room. (the first one they were laughing and joking and talking about a playboy some one had left in the break room as a joke. The second one they started out joking and laughing.)
So I went back and I am now at less than a 1. Yippee!! I will have to go back at the one year mark. After that I never have to go back to the heart Dr again for the hole in my heart. When I go back for the one year mark it will be over three years since I found out about the hole in my heart.

More about Discovery gateway

Okay just one little note about the Discovery Gateway. It was way fun but we got there late. We only had an hour to play, the good part is they didn't charge us full price (full price $8.00). I tried to rush the girls through everything then let them pick what they wanted to go back and play with longer. Kym wanted the house and Devyn wanted the water until we found the pond then she wanted to play there.
We did miss a few things cause the girls wanted to get back to the house and water. We missed the craft area, the create a story area, and we didn't explore the news area very well cause right when we got there the power flipped and so it wasn't working right. But they have a place where the producer would set and watch the show on computers, camera's that you can see who is setting at the desk. A green screen for weather with its own camera. I think older kids would love this. In fact a girl about 9 or 10 was playing there the whole time we were at the helicopter and the listening area.
Kym came up with her new story about St George flooding all by her self. She sat down and started to say it. So I had to have her repeat it while I recorded her.

Devyn and Kyms

Discovery Gateway

Warning Picture over load. Kym wanted Grandma to see how much fun they had.
This is the under three area. Dev loved it once we found it she didn't want to leave it. It was called the pond.

The Helicopter was Lew's favorite. He actually got in it and played with the girls. (that pic is farther down)
The house was Kym's favorite. She was making eggs and bacon.

This is the farm area.Kym hauling hay
Devy gathering eggs
Devy driving the truck

The market was a busy place so they didn't spend to much time there. Do you notice that every time a took a picture they turned their heads. There was so much going on they wanted to see it all.

The water area was fun even the other adults there were playing in it.
Devy didn't want to get out of the truck. Kym wanted to know where to put the debit card into the gas pump.

The bird house was in the pond

This is the Bee hive
Dev put the ball in the tube then it would go up to the top of the hive and down into another bin. She loved that.

Lew jumped in the helicopter as soon as the other kids got out.
