Kym's first loose tooth

Well her first one that wasn't almost knocked out. She is so excited. Lew keeps teasing her the Tooth fairy brings apples instead of money. But she knows the Tooth fairy will lift up her head and put the money under her pillow tomorrow night. She also knows she is going to loose the tooth tomorrow. She might but I really doubt it.

Last night we were lucky enough to watch the George Strait artist of the decade concert. Kym and Devyn were in Heaven. They danced and sang and played in the band. I even had to be part of the band, I got to sing in to the mic because they didn't know the song. The girls are a talented bunch they would switch who would sing, play the guitar, play the tambourine, or be a back up singer. Kym kept yelling we love you George Strait and we love you Taylor Swift! She could have put the NA's setting next to Mom to shame. I thought Lew was going to have a break down.

Today we were informed that it is Lew's pretend birthday. Kym sang him happy birthday, and Devy sang happy to you. They both sing the slowest version of the song I have ever heard it is really rather depressing to hear them sing it. Kym also gave Lewis a lovely gift, she wrapped up some of his clothes and gave them to him. Socks, pants, shirts, and garments. She came up with this all on her own. Tonight she told him I am sorry we didn't make you a cake but we didn't have time. Lew asked why she didn't have time and she said cause Mom wouldn't let us make a cake by ourselves.

Life is fun

All kids are funny and here is a few fun things my girls have said in the last few days

Kym- No! they didn't give me any money.

Kym and Devyn were playing outside.

Kym- Mommy close your eyes I have a surprise for you.

Devyn- Giggling behind her sister

I close my eyes and the girls come in front of me.

Kym- Okay you can open your eyes.

they both giggle

I open my eyes.

Devyn is soaking wet from head to toe. All her hair is slicked back.

Kym- Mommy I did Devyn's hair just for you isn't she beautiful?

Alayse- Yes she is beautiful, she looks just like a used car sales man.

(they had found the spray bottle I use to fix their hair)

Later the same night the girls are eating in the kitchen at their little table.

I am setting in the family room.

They are giggling (I should have know something was up)

The girls come running in

Devyn's face is covered in sour cream.

Kym had painted Devyn's face.

Kym had just a little bit on her face.

Devyn was so proud.

This last one is not from my kids (thank Heavens)

I heard it from a teacher the other day

The class was talking about the Old lady who lived in a shoe.

The janitor was in the room fixing something

he asked how do you think so got so many kids?

A little boy said "She must get around"

The teacher and aide laughed and laughed

the janitor went bright red and left the room.

I promise that is a true story.

Devyn's eating habits

I am convinced Devyn is a vegetarian, which is not a bad thing. She does eat some meat but not a whole lot. She loves cheese and eggs so she is not a vegan. I have been observing her for a few months now and most of the time when I give her meat she takes a bit and spits it out. Today we had turkey sandwiches from Subway she ate everything but the turkey. I mean everything even some of Kym's bread.


Kym has also decided that when we eat fast food she has to have a side salad with it. Crazy kids.

I went to the DR. today and heard the babies heart beat. I love that. Next month we can try to find out what it is. I will love not calling it It any more that just seems mean. My kids have always been little stinkers and make us go in a few times before we can tell what they are. Devyn even fooled us for a few weeks (it was all me, the tech said he couldn't tell) but I was sure I saw a boy part.
I also got med's for my head and I am hoping it works. I feel bad for my kids when I spent two days in the closet and beg them not to come around me. (I am getting monster migraine's with this pregnancy. I have made a bed in the closet for this cause it is dark and cold. I am not crazy and spend time in the closet. Okay I am crazy but even crazies don't want to hang out in a closet)
The Doc also gave me a B-12 shot cause I am so tired. I don't know what was in that shot but I think Lew would like me to get one Daile. I have felt better this afternoon than I have felt in two and a half months. I actually cleaned a little bit this afternoon, did four loads of laundry and made a real dinner. My house still has a very long way until it is clean again. But if I feel like this tomorrow I may get at least find the floor in our family room.

Sorry still no pictures. I was going to get my camera last weekend but a migraine put me in the closet Saturday and Sunday.

My little flour, sugar, lettuce monsters

This past week the girls discovered the flour bucket and became flour monsters in like 5 minuets. I have to admit they were pretty darn cute covered in flour. I tossed them in the tub forgetting that water and flour make paste. They had paste in their hair most of the week. They also decided that the flour needed to be baked and put a few cups in the oven. Did I mention I was going to make cupcakes for Kym's class after they went to bed? Yes I had to clean the floor and oven before I could start.

A few days later they found the sugar bucket and this time they didn't put it in the oven and I caught them before they dumped the whole thing on the floor.


To top the week off I had a head of lettuce that was setting on the counter. I had put most of it into a salad but I was saving some to put on sandwiches later in week. I went outside to finish BBQ the steak and when I returned there was lettuce ripped into small pieces all over the dinning room floor.

Lew took over the punishing of the girls for this one and I think they will think twice before getting in to the food again. I don't know why kids listen to fathers better than Mothers?

As a side note flour feels alot better on the feet than sugar.
