No pain medicine

Yes it is true I had a heart surgery on Dec 23. Just so everyone knows I am not on or ever had any pain medication because of my heart surgery. The only things they put you on after this surgery is a blood thinner, aspirin, and two days of antibiotic's. Friday I went to the Dr and I am now off everything but a baby aspirin.

So if you are the ones who have been in my house looking for pain medicine. Please stop we don't have any!! I even gave my extra blood thinners to the pharmacy so they won't tempt any one.

I know I sound crazy but some one has been breaking into our house while we are gone. (thank heavens they come while we are gone) The only thing we can think that they are after is pain medicine.

Please stop coming in our house.

I love the glasses, they came in a Doctor set the girls got for Christmas.
Kym is quit the poser. I just tell her to smile and she does the rest. Dev is following in her sisters foot steps.

Dancing Queen

Kym loves dance class.
She wanted to leave the house with out her shoes, and as you can see she left with out her coat.

Christmas lights (that are frozen to the ground)

I don't know if you remember but it snowed like crazy a few times in December. Well because of the snow I will not be taking down my outside Christmas trees until July. I did get four of the little trees down. But the others are in there for good.
Unfortunately the front of our house faces north and no sun shines upon that side of our home.
Pictures taken in December.

Sunday at our home

I bought the cutest cake pan from Roberts it is six small hearts. The girls love it. We made cherry cake with pink icing. Kym has been telling me she wants to be a cook, a singer, and something else but I can't remember what it is. Anyway while she was trying to ice the cake she said this is to hard I don't want to be a cook anymore.
Dev did better than I thought she would but you can see that more got in her mouth than on her cake.

Kym did a great job but she wanted it to be perfect and got a little upset when it wasn't.

See our new black tables. They are the perfect height for the girls. Devyn is using one for a changing table. (Don't tell Lew he is on the Internet in his G's. He would delete the blog and throw the computer out the window. He has on his pj pants.)

The girls have eaten all their meals at one of the new tables since they came home. Devyn wouldn't get dressed today I tried she would take off her clothes as soon as I got them on.

Pictures by Kym

11/24/2007

I guess Kym had seen me do this with Dev and decided it was time she take some pictures of her babies. I think the first one is an artistic shot.

She did these all by her self, in a picture that I am not posting you can see me cooking.

How many messes can two little girls make in one day?

This face is deceiving. She decided to stir her water with the tube from inside a marker, then she drank the water. We got most of the black off her face and hands. (For this one I was putting Dev to bed)
I have cat food, popcorn, dry macaroni and a few fruit loops all over my house. Kym helped me clean the table after dinner then she started to pick up some of the cat food mixture. She was so proud of herself she had a small trash can and was putting everything in there. Unfortunately Dev got a hold of it before she could put it in the big trash can.

I will just say Devy loves to play in the cat food. I thought I had out smarted her by putting it in a plastic container that I thought she couldn't get into. Boy was I wrong.

I promise I do watch my kids. I was making lunch when Dev figured out the cat food container. I figured she has it out all ready might as well let her play in it for the day and clean it up after she goes to bed. I really should not think. Something on my vacuum broke, Lew bought the new one he will put on tomorrow. But until then I get to look at cat food and popcorn. Sigh. It really could have been much worse, Kym found and dumped a bottle of BBQ sauce on the back porch, along with laundry soap and a diaper. But they get it from their mother, today I put a tea kettle on the stove then forgot to check it. I kept smelling something bad. It melted the plastic. Big sigh.
But even with all the messes I would not change one thing about my little angels.
