My crazy little four year old had show and tell today and decided to take her Nintendo DS (that is the most show and tell worthy thing she has taken in the month since they started showing) But she was not excited about taking the DS. She was ecstatic about taking 5 glittery pipe cleaners. Yes pipe cleaners. She smuggled them into her back pack and I found them when she go home today. I asked her what did you say about the DS? I just showed it and told them about the sticks (as she called the pipe cleaners). What goes through a four year old mind?

her purple dress up dress (that one was a good one too)

It is fun to see what is important to her and what she finds interesting.

Isn't it funny what they want to show off? Jaxlen had some dandies too. But I guess it just shows us how over the top we parents can sometimes be.....they are happy with cheap pipe cleaners and we are happy with more expensive things. Maybe we really are trying to live our dreams through our children?
